Higher protection levels are achieved by using hard armor plates of either level 3 or 4.
The 2 basic uses of HAP are either “in conjunction” while integrated into a body armor vest together with backing of SAP level IIIA or as “stand alone” plates without any SAP backing.
We offer the plates in various shapes and weights.
The standard size for front and back HAPs is 25×30 cm (10”x12”).
The plates can be cut at the top corners, also known as “shooters cut”.
